Het thema is rood, wit en blauw bij Delightful Challenges deze week. Dit designpapier kwam ik bij de Boekenvoordeel tegen waar ze ook bijpassende embellishments hadden. Dat kwam mooi uit want ik was op zoek naar papier in deze kleuren. Het touw aan de tag komt daar ook vandaan. :))
Mijn kaart heb ik heel simpel gehouden want het papier is best wel druk. De afbeelding heet Handstand Coco the Clown. Erg leuk te gebruiken voor kinderkaarten en uitnodigingen voor kinderfeestjes. ;)

The theme is Red,White and Blue at Delightful Challenges this week. I was looking for designpapers in these colours and found them at the Boekenvoordeel where they also have matching embellishments in these colours. The twine is also from this store. :))
I kept my card simple because the papers are so busy and colourful. The image that I used is called Handstand Coco the Clown. A very cute image for cards for children and invitations for kinderparty's. ;)

Bloemen, bloemen en nog eens bloemen, gebruik er 5 of meer op je kaart. Dat is de Challenge bij Delightful Challenges. Nu verwacht je met dit thema geen kerstkaart natuurlijk...lol...Maar ik wil toch tussendoor kerstkaarten maken zodat het aan het eind van het jaar wat relaxter is. ;)
De roosjes heb ik bewerkt met stickles want met kerst hoort  natuurlijk wel wat glitter bij.
Verder is mijn kaartje heel simpel. De tekst Seasons Greetings heb ik groot uitgeprint en op de binnenkant van de kaart geplakt.

Well, with this theme you don't expect a christmas card, do you?...lol... But I wanted to make more Christmas cards during the year so at the end you don't have that much stress. ;)
I put some stickles on the flowers because with Christmas you need some glitter. I kept my card simple.Then I printed the sentiment out really big and placed it inside the card.

Deze week hebben wij bij de  Dutch Card Lovers weer een leuke sketch gemaakt door Angèle. Ik heb hem een slag gedraaid en een stempelset van de Kruidvat gebruikt. En deze doet het best wel leuk vindt ik zelf. :)
Verder eigenlijk heel basic en simpel gehouden omdat hij toch al druk van zichzelf is.

Deze week is het thema bij Delightful Challenges om lint op je kaart/creatie te gebruiken. Ik was het helemaal vergeten en net op het laatste moment dacht ik eraan. Er was alleen nog plaats voor een strikje in de hoek dus heb ik het zo maar opgelost. ;)
Voor mijn kaartje heb ik geprobeerd om een soor onderwater wereld te creëren alsof je door een glas in de zee kan kijken. De basis heb ik zo'n 6x uitgestanst met een stans van Tim Holtz ,Ornamental. Daarna heb ik de laagjes op elkaar geplakt om diepte te creëren en de bovenste laag heb ik eerst geembossed voor ik hem opplakte. Tussen de laatste laag en de afbeelding heb ik licht blauwe vellum geplakt.
De voorkant heb ik bewerkt met inkt en wat schelpen aangebracht om in het thema te blijven. ;)

This week the theme at Delightfull Challenges is to add ribbon. I totally forgot about that and just the last minute I remembered it. But there was only room for a little bow, so I did that. ;)
I tryed to make a underwater scene, like you are watching throug a glass into the sea. I cut the base about 6x with a Tim Holtz die, Ornamental and attached them all together. But before I attaced the top layer I embossed that one first. Between the last layer and the image I put light blue vellum.
I inked the front part and attached some shelves to stay in with the theme. ;)

Maya Making Wishes

Deze supe leuke afbeelding is ontworpen door Crissy Armstrong  en te verkrijgen bij Whimsy Stamps. Ze heet "Maya Making Wishes". Is het geen droppie? Aangezien het thema deze maand bij de Challenge "Sundays'With Crissy" Things With Wings is wilde ik deze afbeelding gebruiken. Ik wilde haar eerst een donkerder huidskleur geven zodat ze  meer een Afrikaans uiterlijk kreeg, maar de kleuren Copics die ik had was er niet geschikt voor. Dus dan toch maar een lichtere huidskleur. ;)
Ik heb de leuke sketch van Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog gebruikt en rondom met een liniaal van Tim Holtz gaatjes geprikt. Op de bloemen en vlinders heb ik stickles aangebracht.

This super cute image is designed by Crissy Armstrong and you can get her at Whimsy Stamps. She is called "Maya Making Wishes". Isn't she a cuty?? The theme this month at "Sundays With Crissy Challenge Blog" is  Things With Wings. At first I wanted to give here a darker skintone so she would look like a African girl. But the colours of  the Copics that I have weren't the right colours, so I gave her a lighter skintone. ;)
I used the nice sketch from Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog and with the ruler from Tim Holtz I punched holes around the card. On the flower and the butterflyes I put some stickles.

Clean And Simple

Clean And Simple

Deze week is Ellen aan de beurt om de Challenge te verzorgen bij de Dutch Card Lovers en ze heeft ons echt uitgedaagd. :) De opdracht luidt, maak een kaart met de kleuren roze, oranje, groen en zwart of wit. En de kaart moet Clean And Simple zijn. Kijk dat is nog eens een uitdaging...lol...Hier moest ik toch even goed over nadenken want mijn kaarten zijn allesbehalve clean and simple. ;) Uiteindelijk ben ik eruit gekomen en heb ik er een kerstkaart van gemaakt. Het hertje heb ik diverse keren uitgestanst met een stans van EK Success en de lagen op elkaar geplakt zodat je wat meer diepte creërt. De kerstbal is uitgesneden met een Coluzzle mal. De achtergrond en de kerstbal geembossed en er een lintje aan bevestigd alsof hij hangt. Nog een tekst erbij en klaar. Clean and Simple. :))
Ik ben heel benieuwd waar jullie mee komen, dus daag jezelf uit en doe gezellig mee met deze geweldige challenge. ;))

This week it's Ellen's turn to look after the Challenge at the Dutch Card Lovers, and boy did she challenged us. :) We had to make a card with the colours pink, orange, green and black or white. And it has to be a Clean And Simple card. Well...that is a challenge...lol... I had to think about this for a while because my cards aren't clean and simple. ;) I came up with this Christmas card. I punched the deer about 6 times out with my EK Success punch and attached the layers together to create more depth. The ornament I cut out with a Coluzzle mal. I embossed the background and the ornament and attached a ribbon like it's hanging, then I attached a sentiment and ready is my card. Clean and Simple. :))

Deze keer maar eens een kerstkaart gemaakt. :)) Je kan nooit te vroeg beginnen toch? :))

Distressing

Distressing

Vandaag is de release van de nieuwe digitale stempels van Digital Delights. Alles staat in het teken van Western wat ook weer heel mooi aanslaat bij de Challenge van Delightful Challenges. Daar is het thema Distressing, het oud maken van je project doormiddel van scheuren, randen beinkten etc.
Ik heb gekozen om met kraft papier een stoere tag te maken allemaal een beetje in de bruin tinten.
Voor mijn tag heb ik de afbeeldingen Bucky the Horse, Wild West Sentiments Set en Wild West Accessoires Set gebruikt. De rozen heb ik bewerkt met een bruine Copic pen en het gaasje heb ik met Ranger Distress Ink Vintage Photo bewerkt. Ook de label Wanted en de tekst Howdy heb ik hiermee bewerkt. Het touwtje maakt het geheel af.

Today is the new release of Digital Delights new stamps. All in the Western theme, that goes perfectly with the Challenge of Delightful Challenges that is Distressing. Distressing is making things old by tearing  the papers, ink the papers and edges etc.
I choosed to make a tag with craft paper to give it a sturdy look and kept it all in brown colours. For my tag I used the images Bucky The Horse, Wild West Sentiments Set and Wild West Accessoires Set.
I used a Copic to make the roses a little brown and I used Ranger Distress Ink Vintage Photo to make the lace look old. I also used the ink for the Wanted label and the sentiment Howdy.  The rope gives it the finishing touch.

It's A Boy

It's A Boy

Mijn nichtje is bevallen van een zoon en daar hoort natuurlijk een leuk kaartje bij. Deze baby afbeelding van Mo Manning vindt ik zo leuk en lekker stoer, dat moest hem dus worden. Ik had nog van dit vrolijke papier liggen in blauw en groen tinten die er mooi bij passen. Nog wat embellishments erbij en klaar is die. ;)

My niece gave birth to a boy and ofcourse I had to make a card for here. I love this baby image from Mo Manning, it's so sweet and sturdy, I had to use this one. I had some bright papers left in blue and green that was perfect for my card. The embellishments gives it the final touch. ;)

De Challenge bij Delightful Challeges is deze week Moederdag. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de sketch van het Challenge Blog van Creamiep. Mijn kaartje is heel eenvoudig en niet zoveel toeters en bellen eraan. ;) De afbeelding heb ik opgehoogd en in de hoeken heb ik ronde paperclips bevestigd.

The Challenge at Delightful Challenges is Mothersday. I made a card with the sketch from the Challenge Blog from Creamiep. My card is plane and very simple. ;) I made the image to pop up and in the two corners I attached round paperclips.
